1 burnt "home", it was an old hoesteady type place. two women lived there, at least thats what it lookied like... lots of burnt "stuctures" around where it started. i guess they are saying it was a malfuncting "spa". we watched it at travis' house. fucking crazy man, fire fighters running all around, and we were sitting there drinking beers.

"uh, scuse me... can we run a hose through here?"
"fuck ya man, you want some help?
"no, we would like to get some water from your garden hose as well."

yah man, nuggin futts!!!
the dozer rolled right out of our view, we only saw the people running! and then my scanner went silent...

"41 is rolling, hes rolling holy shit!!!!"

silence, untl they were calling for the backboard and stretcher... so fucked! the peoples houe it started at were "in town" for the weekend. second home types...
buzz me this week and maybe we can walk up the fire line and check it all out! thanx for the comment duderiffic.

Shit, I hope you and all around you make out alright. It's funny how people always talk about "New England Weather" like it's the worst thing in the world... I kinda feel like nothing happens around here - I mean, yes, it changes on a dime, but fires, floods, eathquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes... they don't really happen here (much)! Seriously, I hope all goes well, it's really sad about that guy, damn.

KAY, yeah it was pretty crazy and everyone around me was so nonchalant... "dude want another beer?" so the fire is out and two dozers are stuck on the mountain, with the one that rolled down in the ravine. they are still hiking out of the hills and even this morning i followed a fire engine out of the canyon. signs up and down the canyon roads saying "thanks" and "god bless".
BLACK EGG, i wasnt worried about getting out, i wanted in! our house is five miles from that fire and if they werent going to let us home, there was going to be some problems. not to mention the dogs in the house, but the chickens and everything that goes along with having a home way the fuck out there. i always loved the New England weather, do you remember the blizzard of '78? i was young but i remember our whole town shut down. sliding out of our upstairs bedroom windows to get out of the house! and what was that huge hurricain we had in '85 or 86'?

TASHA, thanks, for the most part it was kinda fun watching it all go down, im sure had it been at my house things would have been different! most of those trucks that arrived couldnt even make it up our road!

SUSHI. no marshmallows, but lots of beer and sausages! it took hours for people to get in or out! they were making people wait at the fire station, which had one of the best views of the fire! must have made people even more edgy....
