normal story except

we have already had a hydraulic line blow, a fuel surge suppressor split and a tire flat. I'm all over the place!!! I'll get to the commentsie backsies when i return from this mornings madness!
aaaaaaaannnnndddd.... on Saturday we met a real live blogger from my blogroll!! can you imagine! after years of posting stupid, crass, foul mouthed shit, this person still had interest in meeting for "one drink". several hours later and three different kinds of alcohol, she and her friend left for the evening... how fucking cool is that?!?!?!
so i ask you, have you ever met someone from your own blog roll? not just a fellow blogger, but someone who you have met in person from blogging on your own site??? id like to here about it. while I'm slaving away for the man...

How wonderful. Hope they took a taxi.

Nope, haven't, but know I will. Robyn's just about 10 minutes down the freeway. Okay, maybe 20. Imagine that! It's our destiny.

XO

I think she's working so won't read this. I'm going to get her address and either have flowers delivered on her birthday from all of us, of pick a huge bouquet of roses from the garden and go to her house under the cloak of darkness and leave a massive bouquet for her to discover in the morning. If you hear on the news that someone was shot in Elk Grove, yup, it'll probably be me!!! Wish me luck sweetie! And yes, the bouquet will be from all of us.

Love you,
Suz

Hi IV--I haven't met anyone either, yet, although one time in a yarn shop I ran into someone from one of the crocheting blogs that I frequent. It was kinda weird. But then maybe people who crochet are just too weird to meet up with! LOL. I except myself from that judgment.

In general I'm not averse to it--I think it takes a leap of faith to meet someone you've only known through words, but it sounds like an adventure! Or a blind date, I'm not sure which one...

Hi bud, just checking in... yeah, I'm not on the computer much these days but it's all good. Lately my life has been all about scaling back and prioritizing, so, sorry I'm not here as often as I used to be - but don't worry, I'll keep checking in. You sound like you've been busy and having a great time... keep it up.

I dreamed that I moved into a trailer in FN's backyard and together we mooned Catholic schoolboys on their way to school.

Does THAT count?

I've drank beer with you... does that count?

Want to engage in some dodgey and most likely immoral get-rich schemes with me? I'm tired of the rain.

suz, her friend was the d.d. for her entire visit! the first time we have had one of those!!!

leah, a leap of faith?!?! if we meet you can call me god if you like my child! hahahahhaaaa, just kidding. these girls were slightly worried i was an axe murderer type. i calmly told them that only one would have to watch as i cut the other one up into small pieces with the chainsaw...

nations, that counts! even though you are of flesh and blood... so were you nervous when you two first met?

random! we will try to give you as much notice as possible, when we come up its all about the wham though....

b-egg! been missing you kid and glad to get some comment love from you! looking forward to reading ANYTHING you may come up with in the future! good luck with it all!!

mj, hmmm.... i guess it does. dreaming of bloggers? ya, i'll give you points for that!

beast, the lettering and colors are a reflection of my inner evilness, to me they burn off the screen and glow a deep and sorrowful blood like red. they almost leap off the page! and on my computer the red letters are really bright... hmmm, are the settings on this screen different from everyone elses...

suz, you need to get more in touch with your evil self, then you will see the little demons climbing out of all the red letters that everyone else sees.

everyone else sees the little demon people right!!?!?!

shelagh! can you carry eighty pound bags of dirt up a mountainside?!?! do you like camping for weeks at a time? and would you eat spam?

looks like it's time to move back to Big Sur... but really, is there anything inherently immoral about these schemes of which you speak?

I met my friend Melissa through her blog about being on bedrest without television due to her pregnancy, its no longer up, and we became super friends. She knew this girl I knew in real life and we all met at a BBQ face to face I think... Anyway we hung out in Oakland, and when she moved to Malibu she came and visited me in Big Sur with her family....

She lives in Portland now and meets up with bloggers and writers (because she is a novelist and blogger) quite regularly and gets wicked drunk with them.

I am going to meet up with my blog friend Robin who gave me my computer on my road trip west when we got to little rock. I'm super excited about that.

thats so cool, some people have it in them to just reach out and say hey, lets meet. there are the usual aprehensions involved but for some of us its easy.... you have always been one of those out going people! thanks for the story!!! good luck with meeting robin!
