WATER WATER EVERY WHERE NOT A DROP TO DRINK

So we are have some water problems at home today... no water when we got home last night and ive been hikeing up and down the mountain to our water source getting it going since i got out of bed. now its on and ive found something less that desirable in the storage tank... so ive been cleaning it out and filling the tank up all day... i took some fucking pictures and this mactop wont recognize my blackberry phone. says the "phone" doesnt have the correct services... some how i think its the mactop. i tried to install the disc that come with the stupid phone and the mactop doesnt want to fuck around with that either... so no awsome pics of me standing in the creek smiling. or any artistic type pics of the pump station and water flowing by for you today...
i know you all must be worried about me home alone and having to hike up and down the mountain all day, but rest your hearts.... ive been traveling with beer and cigarettes all morning... infact even now im having a nutricious handfull of wasabi peas...

hope everyones weekend was well and all are in good cheer!

I don't have a clue where and how you live but it's interesting to learn that you must have some spring or creek water supply so I'm assuming that you live in the country?

I've lived in places where I had to pack in my water and conserve it. Wait, I do now also.

And I'm thankful that I have good water, many people on this planet don't.

Most days I get by on less than five gallons a day. But I'm clean and I have coffee and beer, it is good and I enjoy how I live.

Why is it that people think they need a shower to be clean?

To answer BBC's question, I just like to shower to waste water and think how cool it is to be a privileged American asshole that has no idea how lucky I am to have a clean viable water supply.
Hope your week is without water problems. Have a good one.

Croikeys, I hope you get yer H20 back soon. Showers are a little over-rated anyway, right? Admittedly I take one every day, but I kinda love the smell of my man when he's skipped a day...
Seriously, I hope it resolves soon and that your week is starting ok otherwise. Still no new blog on this end... wicked busy!!!

denim... yes it is a janky m$ operating system... stupid macs... not compatable...

kay! hahaha, my mom used to call me sunshine, never zack... even when i met here later in life she called me sunshine... and the water is on now, thanks to me and the landlord type guy is there now fixing his janky setup.

mr.shife... i dont neccessarily need the daily water wasting but there are three little women there who need it!!

black eggers! glad yer still here lurking around.. even though you have shut us out... yeah, i fixed the water set up.. its a thing like any other that takes some maintenance... its haokey but ive only had to deal with it a couple times a year, so... no bother really!

leah! at some point some one cut a hole in the top of our 5000 gallon tank to collect the overflow. when our tank would overflow. they never hooked up there line and left the hole open, what can climb up pipes and fall into a water tank and swim for a while then sink to the bottom? now imagine a couple of its friends tried to save him and jumped in afterwards... yeah and we had been drinking that!!

in big sur it is pretty common to have some floaters in a tank. you have to drain all you can, clean the best possible, fill it, sanitize it, flush it, and fill it again.. pain in the ass, but what are you going to do. when i lived at south forty, i climbed up the canyon from where we got our water and found not one but two deer carcasses that a mountain lion had dragged into the creek to soften them up. i drank that water as welll... ugh.
